Moxie Paper Press presents Monster Holiday, a holiday gathering featuring a collaborative writing performance piece – plus a live score and musical performances by local independent bands Honeybee and Talking Mountain. An installation of holiday decorations by local artists will be included in the space. With a blend of nostalgic sincerity and tongue-in-cheek self-awareness, Moxie Paper Press’ mashed-up literary performance will reference lost loves, Santas gone awry, sibling rivalries, monsters, and Macaulay Culkin. A limited edition of fine hand-bound books of holiday stories, printed by Moxie Paper Press, will be for sale.
